- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Melanie refused to give a an approximate price to file my simple 1040 with no deductions or anything until she typed in my info. she spent every bit of 5 minutes typing the stuff in, then she said that will be $114. I told her that I've never paid that much for a 1040. She tried to hold my w-2 hostage until I brought her the money. She didn't file my taxes, and shouldn't have tried to keep my paperwork. Melanie threw my forms back at me and slammed her hand down and screamed "BYE!" She should have given me a ranged estimate of how much I could expect to pay today. I bought a house in during this tax period and I had student loan interest, but she didn't want to type that in. She is too emotionally unstable to work with the general public. The other tax rep in the office was sitting behind us talking about smoking weed...Go somewhere else and avoid the drama. Terrible experience!By Suited Aces, June 23, 2017
